Tim Moser’s Achievements include:
- 3rd degree judo black belt
Judo Instructor Tim Moser began training Judo in September 1985 at the University of Scranton, where he also wrestled. He earned his 1st degree black belt (Shodan) entirely through competition, and currently holds a 3rd-degree black belt (Sandan). He has trained under Fred Murty (6th degree), Nagayasu Ogasawara (8th Degree), Kurt Tamai (5th degree), and Maurice Allan (7th degree). The New Jersey Judo player of the year in 1990, Tim’s competitive highlights include a 2008 US National Masters gold medal and a silver medal at the 2010 Pan American Masters. Tim has coached several local wrestlers who have gone on to become Maryland State High School Wrestling Champions, as well as several Junior national tournament Judo champions. He is a nationally certified Judo coach.
